Our identity

The obsolescence of many real estate infrastructures, lack of housing, social and intergenerational diversity, an ageing population, the quest for energy and digital sovereignty, climate change, etc., mean that our cities and regions are facing multiple challenges and must transform themselves in response.
Altarea aims to support them in their ecological, social and societal transitions by mobilising the full range of its expertise.

At the same time, French people’s lifestyles and expectations regarding real estate are changing radically, due in particular to the development of e-commerce, the rise of remote working and the decline in purchasing power. Altarea constantly adapts its offerings across all its business lines to better meet its customers’ needs and lifestyles.

As such, the Group is committed to building a happier city where people feel good about living, doing business, working, studying, having fun, learning, etc. A city that makes room for everyone by promoting interactions and social connections. A city that applies the principles of environmental sufficiency, leaves more room for biodiversity and optimises the use of resources.
