In 2009, Altarea took a pioneering step in its sector by launching its CSR approach. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to expand this approach across all our brands and areas of expertise to involve all of our employees, customers and partners. Today, our commitments are commensurate with the challenges facing cities and regions, and we aim for concrete and quantified impacts.

Our convictions

Acting for social utility
Acting for social utility means developing solutions that enable French people to live better today, both collectively and individually. It means strengthening social cohesion by meeting essential needs such as housing, consumption, work, entertainment, learning and establishing links. It’s about stimulating regional development by being a significant player in employment and the local economy. It also means supporting the energy and digital transition of the regions to ensure their resilience.

As a major player in the French property sector, Altarea has a strong responsibility to promote environmental sobriety. This means optimising our climate footprint across all our business lines by enabling low-carbon real estate to truly scale up, innovate and continually evolve to reduce our impact on natural resources. It also means preserving ecosystems and soils as much as possible across all our operations.
