Developing local and responsible data centers
Altarea is involved in the design, construction, and operation of data centers. These centers are designed and operated to minimize their carbon footprint and impact on water and energy resources, while ensuring the highest standards of physical and digital security (ISO 27001 and NDS certification). They contribute to France’s sovereignty by operating exclusively on national territory. Altarea’s data centers provide a solution combining proximity and flexibility for businesses and communities, with customized hosting configurations according to needs and teams in each center to support clients. Our first two data centers are under construction, NDC Val-de-Reuil near Rouen and NDC Roazhon near Rennes, the first components of a network of 15 centers by 2030.
